Quick Ways to Make Money – Amazon Mechanical Turk

Amazon Mechanical Turn is yet another one of the quick ways to make money. The basics of Amazon Mechanical Turk (or mTurk) are that you perform small and simple tasks of your choice and get paid when they are approved.

Companies can request tasks to be performed by the mTurn workforce, which is you if you sign up. These are tasks that are very tough for a computer to do, but pretty easy for a human being to perform. The tasks can be things like identifications of objects, transcribing audio files, write a short review, perform simple market research surveys or write articles and reviews.

When you sign up, you will get a list of tasks that you can work on. These are called HITs (Human Intelligence Task). You will also get a time limit on each task and how much you will get paid. The pay varies from $0.01 for the simplest HITs and to $5 for the more challenging ones. Once you are done with the task, you submit it for review. The company that requested the task will then review it and accept or reject it. You only get paid if it is accepted. Some of the task can also get you extra bonus if the company or the requestor is extremely happy with your work. Some of the tasks are really fun to do and on a good day, you can make up to about $30 a day.

When you sign up as a Mechanical Turk worker, you will see the list of tasks that you are qualified for to do. In the beginning you will only be qualified for really simple tasks that pay $0.01 to $0.15. The more HITs that you do that gets accepted, the more qualified for ‘higher’ work you will be.
