While some of the 2017 Coachella looks cost more than an average mortgage payment, we still can’t help but get absolutely smitten with them. Naturally, no one can top Rihanna ever, so we won’t be even going there (OK, just a tiny info: she wore a head-to-toe Gucci bodysuit, totaling $8,480). Rather, we’ll be focusing on some of the more “affordable” looks, even though Coachella of 2017 looked more like a highbrow runway than an in-the-desert-festival. Oh, well.
Kylie Jenner
Well, the hair diva brought something totally new this Coachella year – fluorescent hair! We are used to have her surprise us with all kinds of crazies when it comes to her ever-evolving style, but fluorescent? Not even us were ready for that drama! Obviously, the minute she’s debuted her hairstyle on Instagram, thousands of girls and women have tried it and we expect the ‘trend’ to last through a few more months. She was head to toe flawless. By the way, she opted for a pair of printed Vetements x Reebok sneakers which retail for $760. No surprise there.
Alessandra Ambrosio
The story begins with Alessandra Ambrosio being born and quickly becoming one of the most beautiful models to have ever walked on the planet Earth. Then come her Coachella outfit choices, like that $1,500 customized biker jacket from The Mighty Company paired with a $2,350 Bulgari bag. Obviously, she thought desert was the best place to show off her refined taste in fashion, and we can’t say we mind it.
Kendall Jenner
While regular people like us would make sure we stock up on our Biocare vitamins, stay hydrated and wear shoes comfy enough to dance all night long, celebs set other Coachella priorities. For instance, Kendall thought the best way to spend Coachella was with her bare butt. Well, not sure how much she paid for the naked attire, but we sure did enjoy a few flashes of her (semi) naked booty. And that’s that.
Hailey Baldwin
We can’t really say we were surprised to see Hailey Baldwin a) look absolutely flawless b) wear her favorite Ippolita hoop earrings she’s been wearing for weeks now. And how much did they cost? Oh, you know… a symbolic sum of festival-appropriate $1,295. We’re keeping our fingers crossed she hasn’t lost one of them in the desert, dancing.
Olivia Culpo
The gorgeous Culpo accessorized her mini skirt and T-shirt with a sparkly, oversize, $1,990 Atelier Swarovski statement necklace. Yet another festival-appropriate piece of accessory and at a very affordable price, don’t you think? Ahhhh… if these celebs keep doing these things to us, we’ll flip eventually. It’s just a matter of time.
Katy Perry
Well, our dear Katy was something else. With her new color (she resembles Pink a little, doesn’t she?) and a laid-back attitude, she definitely channeled Coachella vibes the way they are meant to be channeled. Still, no matter her chill attitude, she still decided that the best outfit to kill the heat was a Thai Nguyen Atelier spring 2017 sequin dress worn over hot pants and a matching bandeau (which altogether totals $1,800). Go figure.
Kate Bosworth
Bosworth looked like she was going to a gala rather than a desert. Always on point, looking beaming healthy, she opted for an all-white outfit and sleek hairdo. The only comfy and laid back moment on her outfit were the Birkenstock-style sandals… that cost $1,250 and just happen to be made by Roger Vivier. Yeah, your grandma has a similar pair, we bet.
