Buying MLM Leads – Is It Really Worth The Price For The Quality You Get?

I was introduced to buying MLM leads a few years ago by my business partner Danny. He had some success with buying MLM leads through First Class MLM through Tim Sales. He was swamped with his real estate business and I had plenty of time so I decided to help him out and call these leads he had purchased.

With leads you have different tiers and different prices. He had the plan with fresh leads meaning that no one had called these leads and of course were expensive at $5 a pop. Leads can cost anywhere from $100 and up depending on the quality you select. The really cheap ones are around $1 dollar and they have been called numerous times and are probably pretty irate by the time you call them. With leads you can pick an area they live, their demographics, ‘male or female and other targeted areas. If you really want to spend money you can have your link to your company website so they have already viewed your information by the time you have spoken with them.

If you do decide to buy MLM leads I suggest going with fresh leads even though they are expensive they have never been contacted along as you don’t wait around and be the first to call them. With network marketing it’s all about the numbers and you’ll need at least 100 leads to sponsor 1 rep for your network marketing company. When the company produces the MLM lead it tells you exactly how much they want to spend on a business, how much time they have to invest, and other series of questions so you know beforehand the type of person your dealing with.

Back to my lead calling, so I called over 100 MLM leads and not one lead panned out. I was really disappointed because majority of the leads were unemployed and were looking for a job versus a business opportunity. The staff at First Class MLM leads were very helpful though and refunded the leads that were looking for employment versus a home business opportunity. It’s hit or miss with leads and you can get a great batch of leads or a bad batch and definitely is all about the numbers.

The only time I really suggest buying MLM leads is if you really don’t have much time to learn to generate them yourself and have a large budget. Buying $100 worth of leads is a waste of time and if you want to produce any kind of income with MLM leads you need thousands of people to talk to.

Needless to say that was the last time I had called or even thought about buying MLM leads for my network marketing business. If you’re a sponsoring machine and are great on the phone give it a shot, but if you’re a rookie I would suggest buying the cheapest ones and getting some good practice in.
